Dr. Roberts will be attending the National Council of Social Studies Annual Meeting held at the Cervantes Convention Center at America’s Center in St. Louis, MO. Events on the docket include a screening of the Judge Davies Documentary “ The Road to Little Rock”, as well as a meet and greet and book signing for Dr. Robert’s memoir “Lessons From Little Rock.”

Dr. Roberts will be addressing the student body and various members of the faculty and administration at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, IL. He will be giving a speech entitled: “ Lessons From Little Rock.”

Dr. Roberts will be speaking with three different student groups from the state of Minnesota’s Detroit Lakes and Pelican Rapids school districts. The speech marks one of many youth engagements Dr. Roberts participates in annually, sharing his unique perspectives with young people with the hopes of inspiring intellectual fervor and critical thinking at a young age.

Dr. Roberts will be presenting a lecture entitled: “School Climate and Culture” to the Fargo School District in North Dakota.

Dr. Roberts will be addressing various members of the student body, faculty, and administration at the University of North Dakota, in Grand Forks North Dakota. His lecture is entitled: “Confronting Difference: Learning To Live Outside the Box.”

Dr. Roberts will be addressing the Governor’s History Conference in Bismarck, North Dakota with a talk entitled, “ The Fight for Civil Rights: America’s Longest War.” The event is sponsored and hosted by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.

Dr. Roberts will be a panelist at the premiere of the documentary, “The Road to Little Rock: The Courage and Conviction of Judge Ronald Davies.” The event will be held at the Heritage Center in Bismarck, North Dakota at 7 pm.

Dr. Roberts is scheduled to speak at the “Sages and Scientists 2013” event, hosted by the Chopra Foundation Symposium. The event will be held at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, CA. Dr. Roberts will be a participant at the Judges Conference at the American Bar Association’s annual meeting held in San Francisco, CA. He will be presenting at the Judge’s Conference with a talk entitled, “Lessons From Little Rock.”
